The world’s greatest celebration of female excellence
In Caserta, in the heart of the 18th century, a revolutionary idea was born: recognizing women’s dignity, rights, and future. Then as now, that vision lives on in a city that becomes home and voice for women of every generation, background, and story.
“Caserta – La città delle donne” is an international festival intertwining culture, community, creativity, reflection, and beauty: a great collective narrative of women’s rights and visions, celebration and encounter in the squares, books and words, digital voices and new languages.

In the Royal Colony of San Leucio, with the Leucian Code, women obtained the same rights as men for the first time in the world: in work, education, and family. The festival inherits and relaunches that vision.
